I have always wanted to be a teacher. I am the oldest of seven children. I was always trying to teach my five sisters and one brother everything they needed to know. Dad was in the Air Force, so we lived in a few different states before I graduated from Central Michigan University: Ohio, Texas, California, Georgia, Arkansas, Maryland and Michigan. Mom and Dad now live on the beach in North Carolina.

Dad was stationed at Offutt when I started teaching. My first teaching job was in West Point, Nebraska. After five years in West Point, I moved to Omaha to finish my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and to continue teaching. I have taught kindergarten through fifth grade. First Grade is my favorite! First-graders are eager to learn and happy to share their ideas about the world.

Mr. Martin Willett and I were married in October 2006. He is my best friend. He helps me with school projects, especially working on this website. Mr. Willett is great at computers!

This is my eleventh year at Springville. I feel very lucky to be a part of the Springville family. Parents and staff work together to help our students be the best they can be. Together, we can make a difference!
