CINDERELLA AROUND THE WORLD

WELCOME TO CINDERELLA AROUND THE WORLD!

We will be reading seven versions of "Cinderella" stories, one for each continent.
We will look at similarities and differences.
We need to identify family members, setting, problem, and solution, the four basic components of good literature.

Why is it, COLD in Nebraska and at the same time the warmest in Antarctica? We will start this unit of study with: Cinderella Penguin and the Little Glass Flipper!

CULMINATING ACTIVITY
With our unit study of Cinderella Around the World, Students will apply the writing process to plan, draft, revise, edit and publish writing using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other standard conventions appropriate for grade level. The students will put their own version of a Cinderella fairy tale in a Powerpoint or Sway format.
